About the Role
We are establishing a new residential construction and renovation company in Perth, specialising in new homes, townhouses, renovations and extensions.
We are seeking an experienced WA Registered Builder who is willing and eligible to act as the company's Nominated Building Supervisor. This is an essential requirement.
This flexible role would ideally suit a retired or semi-retired builder looking to remain involved in the industry without regular full-time commitments.
The company is led by two directors with extensive construction experience. One has a background in civil engineering and construction project management, while the other is a carpenter with over 15 years of experience in the UK.
The directors will manage day-to-day construction operations, subcontractors and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the company's Nominated Building Supervisor, subject to regulatory approval.
- Undertake site inspections at appropriate construction stages.
- Oversee construction quality and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical advice and guidance when required.
- Assist with building documentation and compliance matters.
Essential Requirements
- Current WA Building Practitioner Registration.
- Willing and eligible to be formally appointed as the company's Nominated Building Supervisor.
- Experience in residential construction and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of WA building regulations.
- Current driver's licence.
