The role

In this rewarding opportunity as a Cleaner at mecwacare, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents within our retirement living village. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across serviced apartments, communal areas and shared facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Working collaboratively with the Retirement Living team, you will follow established cleaning schedules, infection control procedures and workplace safety requirements, contributing to the comfort, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.

About you

You are a reliable, hardworking and compassionate individual who takes pride in maintaining clean and comfortable living environments. With previous cleaning experience in residential or retirement village settings, you understand the importance of hygiene, infection control and safe working practices. You will bring strong attention to detail, effective time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. What you bring

- Previous experience in cleaning large scale residential / retirement village environments.
- Passion and commitment towards providing a clean and tidy environment for all village residents.
- The willingness to embrace the mecwacare values.
- Commitment to safe working practices including infection control, manual handling, and chemical handling.




- Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

- Knowledge of general infection control procedures.
- Sound manual handling practices and knowledge of chemical handling.
