About us

Southport Metro is a busy, independent, family owned general practice in the heart of Southport, inside Australia Fair Metro. We’re open seven days with extended hours, AGPAL accredited, and have a well established team of GPs, nurses, a psychologist, dietitian and physiotherapists already on site.

We’re adding podiatry to the practice and looking for a podiatrist to join us on a contractor basis.

The role

You’ll run your own podiatry practice within ours. You set your own fees, hours and clinical approach, and your billings are yours. In return you pay the practice a service fee 30% that covers the room, reception, booking system and everything else below.

We’re flexible on days. One or two days a week to start is fine, with room to grow as your books fill.

- Promotion on our website, Google profile and social channels

About you

- AHPRA registered podiatrist with your own skilled indemnity insurance

- ABN and the ability to work as an independent contractor

- Confident managing general podiatry, diabetic foot care, nail surgery, biomechanics and orthotics

- Comfortable working alongside GPs and allied health in a team environment

- Good with people. Our patients range from kids to the elderly and we care about the whole family over the long term

- New graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply
