Located in the heart of Brisbane CBD, our clinic offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine and bone mineral densitometry (BMD), supported by experienced Radiologists, skilled imaging professionals and dedicated administration teams.

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis with the option to work a 9 day fortnight on a 12mth contract.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an important part of the patient journey, providing a warm and professional experience from the moment patients arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Managing patient bookings, appointments and enquiries
- Answering incoming calls and responding to patient queries
- Processing referrals and patient information
- Liaising with Radiologists, Sonographers, Mammographers and other members of the clinical team
- Processing payments and Medicare/private health claims




- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is confident managing a busy reception and telephone environment
- Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Is professional, approachable and empathetic
- Can work effectively as part of a close-knit team
- Understands the importance of privacy, confidentiality and patient care

Experience in radiology or specialist medical practices will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
