Finance Manager | Sydney CBD - 3 days in office | $160,000-$170,000 package + Bonus

We are partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Finance Manager into its established finance team.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role offers a blend of financial reporting, technical accounting and team leadership. You will oversee core financial operations, work closely with key stakeholders and contribute to ongoing improvements across finance processes. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your commercial and technical expertise within a collaborative, established business.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Analyse actual results against forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
- Prepare financial statements and support statutory reporting and audit requirements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of two finance professionals.
- Contribute to finance process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Support business changes and improvements to financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on reporting and business priorities.

About You

- CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 6+ years' experience across financial accounting, reporting or audit, ideally from a Big 4 or mid-tier background.




- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial reports.
- Experience with an ERP system and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver accurate financial reporting.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with an interest in process improvement and team development.
