Westminster Coverforce Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior SME Broker to manage a portfolio of approximately 300 clients, with a Broker Assistant and Processor already in place.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an existing portfolio, build strong client relationships and use your broking expertise to retain and develop business.

About the role

Reporting to the Divisional Manager – SME & Personal Lines, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing an SME portfolio and providing advice tailored to clients’ businesses and insurance needs.

- Overseeing renewals, negotiating with insurers and presenting suitable cover options.

- Maintaining regular client contact and assisting with claims and enquiries.

- Identifying opportunities for new business, referrals and additional cover.

- Working closely with your Broker Assistant and Processor to deliver timely, accurate service.

- Maintaining client records and meeting compliance and professional development requirements.

About you

You will have:





- A Tier 1 insurance broking qualification.

- At least five years’ insurance industry experience, including two years in a similar role.

- Excellent SME insurance product knowledge.

- Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.

- The organisation and judgement to manage a busy portfolio and coordinate support staff.

A flair for current business development will be highly regarded.
