- Maintain accurate records for parts, stock, maintenance, repairs and completed work.
- Assist with workshop scheduling, job coordination and job allocation as required.
- Source and order parts for workshop jobs and stock, and order consumables to support workshop efficiency.
- Assist with parts quotations and process purchase orders, invoices and related documentation.
- Pick, pack and organise parts and engine components, maintain orderly storage areas, and assist with stocktakes.
- Book freight, coordinate deliveries, and safely pack and secure pallets for dispatch.
- Share driving duties for parts collection and delivery runs as required.
- Communicate professionally with workshop technicians, supervisors, management, suppliers and customers, including providing job or delivery updates.
- Maintain organised filing systems and up-to-date records; assist with reports and other administrative tasks.
- Follow company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements, including safe manual handling.
About You
- Well organised, dependable and punctual, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable switching between computer-based work and physical, hands-on duties in a busy workshop environment.
- Confident with computers and everyday office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A clear communicator with good written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute positively to a team.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock safely, using appropriate manual-handling practices.
- Practical and proactive, with a willingness to assist where needed to keep workshop operations moving.
- Previous administration, warehouse, delivery, logistics or mechanical workshop experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of engine parts, workshop management systems or inventory systems is an advantage.
Licences and Experience
- Previous experience in workshop administration, preferably in a mechanical or engineering workshop
- Current LR and Forklift licence
What We Offer
- A supportive, professional team workplace in a family-owned business.
- A varied role across administration, stores and workshop operations.
