We are conducting the search for a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team of a large, regulated and technically complex Australian organisation operating across advanced manufacturing, critical infrastructure, research and commercial activities.

The organisation operates substantial physical assets, complex manufacturing and supply-chain activities, major capital programmes and commercial operations within a demanding regulatory workplace. We are looking for a CFO who is equally comfortable in the operations and in the ELT.

The successful executive is likely to bring:
CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a complex organisation.
Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship building skills as a cross functional business partner and influence, as part of the ELT, and with high profile external stakeholders.
Solid commercial judgement and business-partnering capability.
Exposure to manufacturing,

industrial, infrastructure, defence, energy, healthcare production or another operationally intensive workplace.
Experience with significant assets and capital investment.
Confidence operating in highly regulated and governance-intensive settings.

While some government experience will be valuable, we are interested in speaking with finance executives whose backgrounds combine commercial and operational depth with an ability to navigate complex operational and regulatory environments.

The opportunity will suit an accomplished finance leader who wants a broader executive mandate in an organisation whose activities have genuine national significance.

The position is based in Sydney.
