About the role

Weldmark Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Certified Steel Fabricator/Boilermaker to join our team in Tamworth. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with quality steel fabrication and welding projects in a agile, professional workplace.

What you'll be doing
Welding steel including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal components
Reading workshop drawings and welding specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Operating and maintaining welding equipment and related machinery in accordance with safety operations
Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines.
Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.
Finishing and cleaning products grinding, buffing and painting to quality standards.
Maintaining a clean and safe work workplace, adhering to safe work regulations

What we're looking for
Current welding qualifications or certification relevant to steel welding as Cert 111 Engineering
Proven experience in steel welding and fabrication, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality welds




Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety standards and practices
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform within a small team
Physical fitness to perform demanding manual work, reliability and punctuality
