Clarity Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join an Australian mining services organisation.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll, ensuring employees are paid correctly while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation. Working closely with the finance team, you will also assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations and employee enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
Process fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
Administer superannuation contributions, employee deductions and salary sacrifice arrangements.
Maintain employee records and process new starter and employee detail updates.
Manage Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and payroll tax requirements.
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare month-end payroll payments.
Respond to payroll enquiries professionally and confidentially.
Assist with internal and external audits and other finance-related duties as required.

About You
1–2 years’ minimum experience in payroll processing,



preferably end-to-end.
Experience with Pronto, SAP SuccessFactors or Chris21 is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
High volume payroll processing exposure.
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to payroll accuracy.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
