About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Fleet Maintenance Labourer to oversee daily workshop operations and support our team across multiple locations. You will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on our client’s fleet of concrete mixers. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, presents professionally, and is driven by performance and results.

This is a salary-driven position offering a competitive package aligned with experience, reliability, and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate workshop staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved
Perform general maintenance on mixers, including jack hammering, servicing mixers, welding works ect
Lead by example with hands-on technical support when required
Allocate daily tasks and manage workflow
Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and efficiency
Oversee multiple workshops to provide operational support along side leading hand
Ensure tools, equipment, and workspaces are maintained and organised
Willingness to work away from home when required

Skills & Experience Required




Proven experience in a workshop or trade-based environment
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential
Strong understanding and practical use of power tools and hand tools
Welding experience not required; however, a willingness and ability to learn welding skills is essential
Solid communication and organisational skills
Professional presentation
Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
Own reliable vehicle and a full driver’s license required
Required to gain HR License
Willingness to travel between workshop locations

Work Schedule & Expectations
Shift commences at 3:00 PM
This role requires flexibility — you must be available to remain in office until scheduled work is completed each night
Commitment to meeting deadlines and ensuring jobs are finished to a high standard
