About the role

Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring full availability of products, and a high level of service to our customers.

Key responsibilities
Supporting the Department Manager with leading and coaching the team
Ensuring inventory management compliance and accurate stock levels
Merchandising
Generating rosters

About you
Food handling experience in a retail supermarket environment
Experience coaching and leading a team
A positive 'can do' attitude and the ability to problem solve
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A commitment to work health and safety standards
Experience in stock management and merchandising
Strong business acumen with an understanding of retail operations
