Position Summary: An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a high-performing automotive dealership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a quick-paced environment and enjoys balancing workshop operations with exceptional customer service.

You will play a key role in supporting, coordinating workshop workflow, maximising technician productivity, and ensuring customers receive a seamless service experience from booking through to vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Controller
Distribute job cards to technicians based on skill set, availability, and priorities
Monitor job progress, repair quality, and service timelines throughout the day
Liaise with Parts team to ensure accurate information and job readiness
Provide technical assistance and guidance to technicians as needed
Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards
Support recruitment,



onboarding and upskilling of technicians
Report on technician efficiency, productivity, and workshop KPIs

Qualifications

Education: Diploma or higher in automotive or a related field.

Training: Received training in maintenance technology, management, etc.

Wishlist
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Service Advisor, Foreman, or Senior Technician.
Strong automotive dealership experience.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong workshop coordination and planning abilities.
Knowledge of dealership management systems such as Pentana, Revolution, ERA, or similar.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy setting.
Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
Current driver's licence.
Strong analysis, organization, business development and training capabilities
Able to handle customer complaints
