This is a remote contract role for a Bookkeeper.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our parent company in Australia.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparation of BAS and maintaining financial statements.
Requirements
Bookkeeping and Accounting skills
Experience with Accounting Software such as Xero, MYOB, or Quick Books
Journal Entries (Accounting) skills
Knowledge of Financial Statements
Ability to work independently and remotely
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record keeping
Robust ethics regarding data privacy of sensitive data
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
Qualified certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
Industry experience or solid knowledge of Australian tax rules and regulations would be highly advantageous
