We’re growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to support our marine mechanics across day-to-day servicing, repairs, and vessel maintenance.

As a Trade Assistant, you’ll work closely with our lead marine mechanic and assist with:
General mechanical labouring and workshop duties
Servicing tasks (oil changes, filter replacements, cleaning components, basic disassembly/reassembly)
Assisting with diagnostics and inspections
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas
Picking up parts, materials, and supporting job preparation
Ensuring secure work practices on vessels and in the workshop





This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and the marine setting.

What We’re Looking For
Automotive, diesel, marine, or similar background preferred
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently alongside a qualified mechanic
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
Comfortable working around boats, confined spaces, and engine rooms
Current driver’s licence (mandatory)
Marine experience is a bonus but not essential - training provided
Forklift or boat licence is advantageous but not required
