Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Salesperson role based in Victor Harbor, SA, with some work-from-home flexibility for tasks such as follow-up calls, online customer inquiries, and administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming customers in the showroom, understanding their flooring needs, providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, and closing sales. The Salesperson will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, assist with basic showroom merchandising, and coordinate with installers and suppliers to support a smooth customer experience. The role also involves handling phone and online enquiries, updating customer records,



and contributing to sales targets through proactive outreach and excellent service.

Qualifications
Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and confidently present solutions.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with explicit spoken and written English and the ability to explain technical details in easy terms.
Basic numeracy and computer skills for preparing quotes, processing orders, and using point-of-sale and CRM systems.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and meet sales targets.
Willingness to learn flooring and carpet products, installation options, and design considerations; prior retail or flooring experience is advantageous.
Ability to work in office in Victor Harbor, SA, with some tasks performed from home, and to stand for extended periods in the showroom as required.
High level of reliability, professionalism, and ethical conduct, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
Previous experience in retail, home improvement, or interiors is beneficial; formal qualifications in sales or customer service are an advantage but not mandatory.
