Galuwa Dining is a newly established dining venue located within the Galuwa Recreational Centre at 180 River Road, Lane Cove NSW 2066, overlooking the picturesque Lane Cove Golf Course.

Offering a contemporary dining experience in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, the venue caters to casual dining, family gatherings, special occasions and events. With a focus on quality food, fresh ingredients and exceptional hospitality, Galuwa Dining aims to provide an enjoyable dining experience for the local community and visitors alike.

The Position – Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team and contribute to delivering high-quality food and maintain excellent culinary standards.

Responsibilities
Plan and develop menus in consultation with management.
Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards.
Monitor food quality,



portion sizes and presentation standards.
Estimate food requirements, manage inventory and coordinate ingredient orders.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure productive daily operations.
Train and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS regulations.
Monitor food costs, minimise wastage and maintain kitchen efficiency.

What we offer
Annual Base Salary: AUD$80,000-$85000 (38 hr/week)
Plus Super, Allowance, Bonus.

Qualifications
Cert.IV or Above.
Minimum 01 year of work experience as a Chef.

The Applicant should be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia
