Community Care Worker (Qualified) Casual Ageing Well Services | Colac Otway Shire Council

About the Role As a Casual Community Care Worker, you will provide high-quality in-home support that promotes independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. You will work closely with clients to assist them in maintaining their daily routines and remaining safely in their own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

Personal care support, including showering and dressing

Domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

Shopping assistance and transport support

Social support and community access

Respite support for carers and clients

Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes in circumstances

Maintaining accurate records and supporting quality care delivery

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

A caring,



respectful and client-focused approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience supporting people with diverse needs

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Community Services or a related qualification

Current Victorian Driver Licence

Access to a registered, roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle

Current Working with Children Check

Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Salary information: $42.10 to $44.60 per hour plus superannuation
