An exciting opportunity arises for a medical receptionist/ specialist assistant to join our team at Eye and Retina Specialists in the growing area in Waterloo/Zetland NSW.
You will be an important member of the team, assisting with medical reception duties and as an assistant to our principal medical specialist. Significant opportunities to learn new skills, engage in career development and assist with research activities. Part-time work initially.
What you will be doing
Greeting patients, answering emails, processing billings
Stock-take and ordering
Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry and record keeping
Opportunity to learn recent skills including ophthalmic assisting and beauty/aesthetics treatments for the right candidate.
Other
Working closely as assistant to our principal medical specialist
Involvement in organising social events and activities
What we are looking for:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well-presented and attention to detail
Motivation to learn current skills
Ability to prioritise tasks
Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
A positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
Previous medical / aesthetics experience helpful.
