We are seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Secretary with a robust background working in a law firm workplace, preferably within Family Law, to join a specialist Family Law practice on the Gold Coast.

About the Role

This full-time position is a vital support role within a close-knit Family Law team. You will be responsible for a mix of paralegal and administrative duties to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the department.

Key Responsibilities
Provide full administrative support including diary management, client correspondence, file management, and document preparation
Conduct legal research and assist with preparing court documents and other legal materials
Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties to coordinate meetings and hearings
Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems
Support general office duties such as answering calls and greeting visitors





What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a law firm, ideally in Family Law
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
Exceptional attention to detail and record-keeping
Passion for Family Law and commitment to high-quality support
