About the Role

Cater Care is seeking trade-qualified, experienced FIFO Chefs to join our remote site team at Hera. You will be responsible for preparing high-volume, nutritious meal services—including hot breakfasts, dinners, and crib lunches—for remote village residents who rely on us for a comfortable "home away from home."

Roster & Compensation

•
Roster: 14 Days On / 7 Days Off (10–12 hour shifts; day/night/split shifts as required)

•
Location: FIFO directly from Sydney

•

What You'll Do

•
Prepare high-volume breakfast, dinner, and crib options for site residents

•
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, HACCP regulations, and site hygiene standards

•
Manage coolroom rotations, stock levels, and active waste minimization

•
Cater expertly to specialized diets, allergies, and menu preferences

•
Work alongside utilities and kitchen hand staff to maintain productive workflow





What We’re Looking For

•
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or TRA-recognized equivalent)

•
Proven experience in high-volume catering, remote site operations, or buffet dining

•
Comprehensive understanding of HACCP, food safety regulations, and allergen handling

•
Current valid Manual Driver’s License

•
Full Australian Working Rights

•
Ability to pass a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
