Responsibilities include providing personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. Support Workers may help clients access community resources, administer medication, and maintain a secure workplace. Effective communication, empathy, and a client-centred approach are crucial. Documentation of client progress and collaboration with healthcare specialists are also common tasks in this role. Payrates are set according to the schads award.
