Gundagai Meat Processors (GMP) is a family-owned lamb processor and exporter, supplying customers across Australia and into around 70 international markets. Our Wodonga site handles cold storage and export logistics for the business. It's a small, close-knit team where everyone pitches in to make sure every part of the operation is covered.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position split roughly as follows: Quality Assurance (50%): maintaining and supporting quality systems, monitoring HACCP and SQF compliance, and taking part in internal and external audits. Work Health & Safety (30%): supporting secure work practices across the site, including inspections, hazard reporting and safety documentation. Cold store support (20%): helping the coldstore team with day-to-day operations when needed.

About you
HACCP and/or SQF training and working knowledge
Understanding of quality systems
Audit experience, both internal and external
Computer literate in Word and Excel, and willing to learn warehousing and export systems
Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one
Experience in the meat industry is an advantage, but not essential
A genuine team player with an outgoing, positive personality
A varied role where no two days are the same
