We are seeking an energetic and reliable Café All-Rounder / Sandwich Hand to join our fast-paced team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in both front-of-house customer service and back-of-house food preparation. This is a dynamic, high-energy role perfect for someone who thrives on variety, loves making fresh food, and enjoys interacting with customers.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with some weekends. First shift starts at 6.00am and last shift finishes at 3.00pm, no nights and only occasional weekends.

The role will include:

Food Preparation & Sandwich Making
Prepare sandwiches, baguettes, toasties, bagels, and wraps to order.
Manage ingredient prep such as washing produce, preparing sauces or spreads, slicing vegetables, piping muffins.
Fulfill catering orders efficiently and presentably within strict timeframes.
Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

Customer Service & Front of House
Greet customers warmly, take food/drink orders, and provide friendly service.




Operate the POS system and handle cash/EFTPOS transactions accurately.
Work efficiently and effective as part of a team

Operations & Maintenance
Transparent, wipe down, and reset indoor and outdoor tables.
Restock grab-and-go fridges, snack displays, and condiments.
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and emptying bins to maintain a spotless setting.

This role would suit a candidate with:-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure during peak periods.
High attention to detail regarding food presentation and cleanliness.
Strong reliability and punctuality for early morning starts.
Valid Secure Food Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
