Australian Community Home Care is looking for disability support worker to be part of people's lives, professionally assisting them with a range of needs (role dependent) including but not limited to: movement, domestic duties, mealtime support, daily activities, medication administration and support with personal care. You will provide relief to operational sites across your allocated region to assist with shift coverage. Shift days/times will vary based on the allocated location in western Sydney.

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other specialists.




Ability to work in a very busy workplace and to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
Valid Driver’s License.(MANDATORY)
Own transport (MANDATORY)
A cleared Working with Children Check and National Criminal Record Clearance and Workers Screening Check.

Qualifications
Certificate II in Disability or other relevant qualification in disability and community service.
Experience in the delivery of personal care services and/or challenging behaviors is viewed favorably.
First aid and CPR certificate mandatory but can be completed upon hiring
