Marci Lou's Burger Co. | Full time Shift Manager

We're looking for a Shift Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading people. You'll be responsible for running shifts, supporting the team, and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience.

As a Shift Manager, you'll lead by example, keep operations running smoothly, and help maintain the high standards that Marci Lou's Burger Co. is known for.

Your responsibilities
Lead and manage shifts from start to finish
Supervise, support and motivate the team throughout each shift
Train and onboard new team members
Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and customer service
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally
Count cash floats, set up tills and complete end-of-day cash procedures
Assist with stock control and notify management of stock requirements
Complete opening and closing procedures
Monitor labour, productivity and shift performance
Ensure company systems, procedures and food safety standards are followed
Help create a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture

We're looking for someone who




Has previous hospitality leadership experience (preferred but not essential)
Leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed
Is reliable, punctual and highly organised
Communicates confidently with both staff and customers
Stays calm under pressure in a busy environment
Takes ownership, solves problems and makes valuable decisions
Has strong attention to detail
Wants to grow their career in hospitality leadership
