SIL Support Worker – Flexible Work

Are you a compassionate, reliable, and person-centred Support Worker looking for adaptable and meaningful work?

We are looking for experienced SIL (Supported Independent Living) Support Workers to support NDIS participants living in supported accommodation and shared living environments.

As an independent contractor, you can choose your availability and shifts while providing high-quality, person-centred support that helps participants live as independently and confidently as possible.

What the role involves
Providing person-centred support to NDIS participants in SIL homes
Supporting participants with personal care and daily living activities
Supporting meal preparation, cooking and household tasks
Supporting medication routines in accordance with the participant's care plan and relevant requirements
Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning where required
Supporting participants to access the community and attend appointments
Encouraging independence, choice and decision-making
Following individualised support plans, care plans and participant goals




Monitoring and reporting changes in a participant's health, wellbeing or behaviour
Maintaining a secure, clean and respectful living environment
Providing overnight, active night or sleepover support where required
