We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker with solid behaviour support and complex care experience to assist a female participant in Glenwood, NSW.

The participant has complex support needs and requires someone who is calm, patient, reliable and confident in managing challenging situations.

Support Needs
Epilepsy and vision impairment
Significant communication difficulties
Complex behaviours of concern
Obsessive-compulsive and repetitive behaviours
Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties
Self-injurious behaviours and sensory needs

What We're Looking For
Experience supporting people with complex disabilities and behaviours of concern
Knowledge of epilepsy and complex communication needs
Ability to recognise distress and respond calmly and safely
Understanding of positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies




Relevant disability or behaviour support qualifications highly regarded
Reliable, patient and compassionate approach
