We’re looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Major Mitchell Café.

You’ll be confident working in a busy café workplace, producing consistently outstanding coffee while delivering the warm, friendly service we’re known for.

For us, being a great barista is about more than what happens behind the coffee machine. We want someone with personality who genuinely enjoys connecting with customers, remembers our regulars and helps create a welcoming atmosphere.

You’ll work closely with our front-of-house team, so being a team player is essential. We’re looking for someone who is positive, reliable, energetic and happy to jump in and help wherever needed during service.

You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing high-quality coffee consistently




Confidently handling busy service periods
Providing genuine, friendly customer service
Building relationships with our regular customers
Keeping the coffee station clean, organised and well stocked
Working collaboratively with the wider café team
Bringing a positive attitude and excellent energy to every shift

Pay: $31.00 – $50.00 per hour
