About the role

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on position involving both scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns across a commercial maintenance portfolio. The role involves servicing, fault-finding and repairing commercial mechanical and plumbing systems across commercial buildings, apartment complexes and industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities
Servicing, fault-finding and repairing commercial boilers and heating systems
Servicing and repairing refrigeration and associated mechanical equipment
Maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs of sump pits, sump pumps and associated control systems
Servicing circulating pumps, valves, hot water systems and associated mechanical plant
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical plumbing faults
Carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
Identifying equipment defects and recommending appropriate rectification works
Completing accurate service reports and maintenance documentation
Working independently and liaising professionally with clients and building managers

About you




Current Victorian plumbing registration or licence with appropriate endorsements
Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
Demonstrated hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing commercial boilers
Proven experience with sump pumps, sump pits and pump control systems
Practical experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing refrigeration equipment
Robust mechanical services knowledge and fault-finding ability
Current driver's licence
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple maintenance tasks
Solid commitment to safety, quality workmanship and customer service

Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
