We are seeking experienced Boilermakers and Welders to join our Canning Vale workshop in ongoing positions, with the choice of permanent full-time employment or ongoing casual employment. These are long-term prospects, not short-term or project-based assignments. Applicants should bring practical workshop, fabrication and manufacturing experience, including MIG and flux-cored welding skills.
About the role
Carry out welding, fabrication, maintenance and repair work in a workshop environment.
Work alongside experienced tradespeople to deliver high-quality fabrication solutions.
Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans to complete work accurately.
Contribute to a team focused on safety,
quality and continuous improvement.
Skills & experience
Hands-on workshop experience, ideally in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Practical fabrication experience and solid MIG and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) skills; stick welding skills also relevant.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
Confidence using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery.
Commitment to safe work practices, quality workmanship and meeting deadlines.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to continue learning.
