The role covers ward rounds, ED/ward assessments, initiating treatments, and planning management with Consultants. Travel and accommodation are provided; rates include superannuation and casual loading where applicable.

AHPRA registration is mandatory for medical practitioners. Work is at a local community rural hospital on the mid-North Coast, with a 24-hour ED staffed by GP VMOs and CMOs.
