As the Solution Architect, you will lead the development and assessment of solution architecture options for the modernisation of our client's secure digital research setting. The role will cover cloud, infrastructure, integration, data, applications, DevSecOps, security and interoperability considerations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop high-level solution architecture options aligned with the client's enterprise architecture.
Assess cloud, hybrid and deployable architecture approaches, including Google Cloud Platform.
Define and document infrastructure, application, data, integration and security architecture.
Develop architecture artefacts, technical plans, design options and recommendations.
Assess solution scalability, interoperability, resilience, security and cost.
Provide architecture input into the Discovery Report, Solution Options Assessment and System Engineering Design.
Evaluate DevSecOps,



platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code and automation approaches.
Ensure proposed solutions align with the client's standards, architecture principles, enterprise services and future operating models.
Provide technical advice during reviews, governance and Government approval activities.

Desired Experience
Significant solution architecture experience in complex ICT or secured settings.
Strong experience across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, integration and enterprise architecture.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform or comparable hyperscaler environments.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering.
Robust understanding of secure integration, interoperability, data and identity architectures.
Experience producing architecture artefacts and supporting technical governance.
