We are currently seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor in Trauma & Orthopaedics to join an NHS Trust on a locum basis with an immediate start available.

Key Requirements
GMC registration with a licence to practise
Previous NHS experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Available to commence work ASAP
Solid clinical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities
Assessment and management of trauma and orthopaedic patients
Participation in fracture clinics and outpatient services
Ward rounds and inpatient management
Management of acute orthopaedic admissions
Pre-operative and post-operative patient care?
Assisting in trauma and elective theatre sessions
Liaising with consultants, nursing staff, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
Participation in on-call rotas where required
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

Experience working at Specialty Doctor or Registrar level within the NHS
Experience in managing acute trauma cases
Competency in common orthopaedic procedures
Experience in multidisciplinary team working
Audit, teaching and quality improvement experience
