City Venue Management (CVM) is offering paid School-Based Traineeships across the Gold Coast
This is a great prospect for current year 10 students on a Vocational Major pathway to gain hands‐on industry experience while working towards a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation.
What's involved?
563 hours of paid, on-the-job training, usually completed over 12–18 months
Students can earn QCE points towards their senior schooling
Gain industry qualifications, including CPR, First Aid and Swim Teaching, with the opportunity to become a qualified Pool Lifeguard
Develop practical skills in swim schools, customer service and aquatic operations
This is a excellent chance for students to take the first steps towards a career as a Swim Teacher, Pool Lifeguard or Duty Manager, all while gaining valuable workplace experience.
