This is a part-time reception and legal assistant position, approximately 9:00am-3:00pm, four days a week with some flexibility. Working closely with the Lawyers, you'll keep the front of house and the firm's day-to-day admin running smoothly.

Key responsibilities
Greeting clients and managing phone calls, emails and the reception area with warmth and professionalism
Managing the firm diary - appointments, conferences and court dates
Opening, maintaining and archiving client files, and general data entry
Liaising with clients, courts, police, prosecutors and barristers' chambers
Preparing and formatting correspondence, court forms and documents
Supporting billing and file administration
General administrative support to the Principal and legal team

About you
A calm, discreet and approachable manner - you're comfortable dealing with clients who may be distressed or vulnerable
Highly organised,



with solid attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities
Transparent, professional written and verbal communication
Confident with Microsoft Office and Outlook, experience with LEAP or Actionstep is an advantage
Previous experience in a law firm or professional services reception/admin role is preferred, but the right attitude matters more
Absolute discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
Reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously within a small team
A current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
