Prospero Teaching is partnering with a highly regarded independent Islamic school in South-Western Sydney to recruit an experienced and passionate Science Teacher for a full time permanent position commencing in Term 3, 2026 .

About the Role
Teach Science across Years 7–12
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum
Prepare students for success in HSC Science subjects
Foster scientific thinking, inquiry skills, and problem-solving
Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families




Contribute to faculty initiatives and broader school programs
Participate in professional learning and school events

Requirements
Recognised teaching qualification with Science specialisation
Current NESA accreditation
Experience teaching secondary Science (Stage 4–6)
Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics is highly desirable
Strong understanding of NSW Curriculum and HSC requirements
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to supporting the school's Islamic values and ethos
