Kempsey Macleay RSL is a thriving regional Club at the heart of the community, known for its welcoming atmosphere, outstanding facilities and stunning river views. From conferences to intimate meetings and large-scale events, our venue offers a dynamic and exciting hospitality environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Chef to support our Head Chef and work alongside a kitchen team of up to 10 staff servicing our restaurant, bistro, café and function operations.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be passionate about food, thrive in a quick-paced workplace and bring creativity and energy to the kitchen.

To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified Chef with experience in a similar quick-paced environment
Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Demonstrate creativity and pride in food presentation and menu development




Have experience with stock ordering and food costing
Contribute fresh ideas for menus and daily specials
Be hands-on and team-oriented
Be flexible to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends
Hold valid working rights in Australia
