Join our team in Port Macquarie and play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for over 300 aged care residents. Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help lead a large catering operation while maintaining exceptional food quality, safety and service standards.

What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate large-scale meal preparation across multiple dining areas
Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Lead, coach and mentor kitchen team members
Ensure HACCP, allergen management and food safety compliance
Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage
Contribute menu ideas and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
What You'll Bring
Cert III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
Previous experience in a Sous Chef, Senior Cook or leadership role
Solid understanding of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
Experience preparing nutritious meals in bulk quantities
Knowledge of IDDSI and texture-modified diets
Food Safety Supervisor certification
Australian working rights
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
