Salary: £35- £45k + pkg

Regions: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire

AMajor Civil Contractor are seeking a Senior Engineer to work on a project based in theHertfordshire to work on heavy Civil multi discipline highways projects on a permanent basis and must have a range of different Civil experience and Highways experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Site Manager and deputise for short periods when the Site Manager is not available.
Management of Site Management Plan
Build, develop, support and maintain the engineering team
Be aware of responsibilities from the HSEQ policies
Short Term plans

Required Experience




Candidates should ideally be qualified to degree / diploma level in a civil engineering discipline.
Previous experience of working for a main contractor on major civil engineering projects is essential.
Organisational skills
Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM Regulations
Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and protected systems of work
Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
Experience in construction.
