Hours: 38 hours/week | Daytime only (2:30 PM finishes!)

We are a local, family-owned group operating two high-volume, established beachfront cafés at the southern end of the Gold Coast. We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and talented Chef to join our close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver consistent,



high-quality dishes on both the grill and pass in a quick-paced workplace.

Design and implement creative, on-trend monthly menu specials.

Oversee in-house baking and prep routines.

Manage produce ordering to achieve set financial KPIs.

Maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene, and kitchen documentation standards.

Complete opening and closing kitchen procedures seamlessly.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume, contemporary breakfast/lunch café.

Relevant commercial cookery qualifications and a proven track record.

Solid culinary flair and passion for fresh, contemporary café dining.

Commercial acumen with a good understanding of kitchen margins and stock control.

Outstanding organization, communication, and calm-under-pressure team leadership.
