About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life in a secure, respectful, and caring setting.

Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and mobility
Provide emotional support and companionship
Support residents during exercise, therapy and mealtimes where required
Participate in writing and following care plans for individual residents
Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Work collaboratively with nurses and other allied health staff

Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent




Previous experience in aged care or a similar care environment (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude
Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)

Desirable
Manual handling training
Basic knowledge of aged care quality standards
Familiarity with electronic care systems (advantageous but not essential)
