Job Description
Provide desktop support for hardware, software and user access issues.
Diagnose and resolve common desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral faults.
Set up, configure and maintain workstations to support employee needs.
Install approved software and apply standard updates to desktop devices.
Respond to technology requests and provide explicit updates to users.
Record incidents, actions and resolutions to maintain accurate support records.
Escalate complex technical issues through the appropriate support channels.




Help maintain reliable technology services across the Perth workplace.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Desktop Engineer' should have:
Confidence communicating technical information in explicit, straightforward language.
Practical experience providing desktop and end-user technology support.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and peripheral issues.
Experience setting up and configuring desktop computers and laptops.
Working knowledge of installing software and completing routine device updates.
Ability to document support requests, troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
