About the role

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Leading & working alongside a workforce including civil plant operators, trades-people & labourers
Conducting daily pre-start hazard risk assessments & tool box briefings
Working closely with the project management team regarding service and production targets & various reporting
Liaising with clients on-site to ensure works are carried out in accordance with project requirements and expectations
Coordinating day to day civil construction activities




Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to
Complying with statutory and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate:
Experience in supervisory role specialising in Civil Construction and previous experience in concrete works
Productive and effective work systems, with robust ability to problem solve
Ability to work unsupervised
Confident and decisive
Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office
A high level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in subcontractor management and coordinating resources on multiple job sites
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage individuals and high-performance teams
Highly developed time management, scheduling, planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detail, with a safety and quality focus
