About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in equipment, technology and services for the mining and aggregates industries.
Based inForrestfield, their busy manufacturing workshop is seeking experiencedBoilermaker/Weldersto join their safety-focused and supportive team.
About the Role: We are currently seeking experiencedBoilermaker/Weldersfor ongoing work within a busy heavy industrial manufacturing and repair workshop.
These areMonday-to-Friday day-shift roles, with standard hours of6:00am to 2:30pm.
Due to current workload, regular overtime is available, with shifts often extending to approximately4:30pm.
Weekend work may also be offered.
This role would suit experienced Boilermakers who are comfortable working on heavy industrial equipment and components and have previous experience withrepairs, fabrication and wear liners.
Key Responsibilities
Complete repairs and fabrication work on heavy industrial equipment and components
Remove, repair, fabricate and install wear liners
Perform welding, cutting and grinding
Interpret drawings and complete work to required specifications




Carry out general workshop fabrication and repair duties
Complete work safely and to a high standard
Maintain a clean, safe and productive work area
Required Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Tradeor equivalent recognised qualification
Previous experience as a qualified Boilermaker/Welder
Demonstratedrepair and wear-liner experiencewithin manufacturing, mining or heavy industry
Strong welding and fabrication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable with a robust work ethic
Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends when required
Willingness to attend asite meet and greet and complete a weld test
