Mornington District Basketball Association (MDBA) is seeking to appoint a new General Manager to lead the organisation and deliver on its strategic priorities.

Following 11.5 years of dedicated service, our current General Manager has accepted a new career chance, leaving the Association in a strong position for its next phase of growth and development. This presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and capable leader to build on a solid foundation and continue driving the organisation forward.

Working closely with the Committee of Management, the successful applicant will lead a busy and diverse not-for-profit community sporting organisation. The role requires a highly motivated professional with strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.

Applicants should possess relevant experience in management, administration and team leadership. An understanding of the basketball landscape, community sport sector and volunteer-based organisations will be highly regarded.

At MDBA, we value potential and diverse experiences. If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every requirement outlined in the position description, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for the right person to join our team and recognise that skills and experience can be developed.
