About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experiencedAssistant Accountantto join ourFinanceteam.
This role supports the delivery of accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and financial administration across the College. Working closely with a supportive team, you will help maintain the integrity of financial and operational data, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and provide timely financial information that supports sound decision-making across the College.
Location: Indooroopilly, Brisbane

What You Bring
A relevant undergraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, and/or extensive relevant work experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting, bookkeeping principles, and general ledger and bank account reconciliation.
Experience preparing financial reports, reconciliations, budgets, and supporting financial administration processes, preferably within a not for profit or education sector.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, interpret and evaluate financial data accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



with the ability to build effective working relationships across a diverse school community.
Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.

Position Description
St Peters Lutheran College (Indooroopilly) is a P-12 coeducational day and boarding college of 2,250 students. The Lower Primary with Years Prep–4 has three classes at each level. The Upper Primary provides a program tailored to meet the needs of students in Years 5–6. St Peters Junior High offers Years 7-9 students a program to support young adolescents. The Senior School provides a program for Years ***** with the International Baccalaureate Diploma offered alongside VET and QSA courses.
