Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA is seeking a voluntary Board Member with experience in financial management, risk management, and/or marketing to contribute to strategic governance.
This is a voluntary Board position. Consideration is given to the reimbursement of approved travel-related expenses.

About Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA
Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA (LESNW) is an educational system authority responsible for 41 learning communities throughout South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, distributing approximately $250 million in recurrent funding each year.
LESNW is an association for its members, providing professional learning opportunities, advice and support. Each member is independently incorporated, with its own Board and governance arrangements.
The regional office supports learning communities and their boards through educational support, systems and compliance support, while building a robust network of collaborative groups and providing finance advice and support.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a person with experience in financial management,



risk management and/or marketing to join the Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA Board.
A preference will be given to candidates with a strong financial background and demonstrated experience in risk management and marketing.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of a significant educational organisation that supports learning communities across three states and territories.

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Financial management
Risk management
Marketing
Governance and board operations
Strategic planning

The successful applicant does not need to be a member of the Lutheran Church; however, they will need to be supportive of the mission and vision of Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA.
