Thiess Mount Pleasant is seeking a Drill & Blast Engineer to join our open cut mining team in Australia.
You will design and load drill patterns, develop weekly schedules and coordinate explosives ordering to support the mine plan, working closely with the planning group to maximise coal flow and fragmentation.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will promote secure work practices, mentor crew, and pursue continuous improvement of drill and blast processes onsite.
