The Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled, motivated and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a variety of work, takes ownership of their jobs and values working alongside a supportive, professional team.
You'll be working across domestic, commercial and real estate-managed properties, carrying out air-conditioning installations, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
If you take pride in connecting with customers, solving problems, and want to work for a company that genuinely cares about sustainability and community, this is the role for you.
If you're dual-trade qualified, that's a bonus, but it's certainly not essential.
Your Responsibilities
Perform high-quality split system and ducted A/C installations.
Conduct thorough preventative maintenance, servicing, and fault finding.
Lead and mentor apprentices, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Build strong,



trusting relationships with customers through professional and friendly communication.
Manage job sites independently, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness.
Assist with electrical work (if dual-trade) and occasional light commercial projects.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications:Fully qualified Refrigeration Mechanic (Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) or Dual Trade.
Leadership Potential:A natural ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others.
Passion:Genuine enthusiasm for the trade and delivering the best outcomes for clients.
Customer Focus:Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the Excite Electrics brand positively.

Technical Skill:Confidence in all aspects of installation, maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
